Adopt a Terrier (short coat)

Terrier (short coat) Dog

Brady the Dog needs a home

Brady is a 3.5 month old fun-loving terrier mix that loves to run and play! He has a beautiful black coat with brindle paws and chin, and has a small white patch on his chest. He’s a very handsome guy!

Brady loves to play with his foster family’s dogs, and particularly loves going on walks around the neighborhood with them. He even puts his leash in his mouth and walks himself! He would make a great pet for a family with other dogs to play with! He’s very curious about his foster family’s cats, but only in a playful manner, never aggressive. He’s also an excellent lap companion in the car!

Brady has been around children, aged two to ten, and does especially well with the ten year old. He is energetic, so a child that’s steady on their feet would be best! He is still learning not to jump, and has made great improvements in the time we have had him. Brady has been in his crate whenever his foster family is not home, and sleeps well in his crate at night, too.

Brady has learned to sit, and we are currently working on stay. He is mostly potty trained, with the occasional accident. He loves his chew toys, particularly Kong’s with peanut butter in them!

Brady is being fostered in Madison, AL but is available for adoption in your area. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and current on heartworm and flea prevention. To fill out an application to adopt this handsome guy, go to http://forrescue.net/dog-application
